Arrowhead Golf Club (26W151 Butterfield Rd., Wheaton, Ill.) will once again play host for two local institutions offering Hope and History to residence of DuPage.  Come enjoy Oktoberfest golfing, beer, and food as you support the DuPage County Historical Museum (102 E. Wesley St., Wheaton, Ill.) and People’s Resource Center (201 S. Naperville Rd., Wheaton, Ill.).

At the 5th Annual On Par for DuPage Golf Outing on September 21, 10A-6P, guests will golf through 18 autumn-touched holes and enjoy samples of craft beer on-course while challenging each other for special awards and prizes.

Begin the day with a delicious bratwurst lunch and end with a hearty Oktoberfest-themed buffet dinner.  On the menu are schweinbraten (German roast pork with bock beer gravy), spaetzle (German noodles), wurst (sausage), braised red cabbage, and apple strudel with cinnamon ice cream.

Awards will be announced after dinner, as well as winners of the raffle and silent auction.

All proceeds will be split between DuPage County Historical Museum (102 E. Wesley St., Wheaton, Ill.) and People’s Resource Center (201 S. Naperville Rd., Wheaton, Ill.).

Individual golfer tickets (which include lunch and dinner) are $200. Foursomes are $775. Dinner-only tickets are $60. Must be 21 or older.
