1.) Get Fired Up!
Your child – or grandchild – will have the hottest birthday party in town, courtesy of the Westmont Fire Department. The celebration takes place at the Westmont Fire Station, where the guys will provide cake, ice cream and candy, and even give a tour of the fire station. Kids will learn all about fire safety to make them feel like junior firefighters, while having a blast at this unique birthday celebration. Fan the flames on this one and bid!

7.) “A Vanishing Midwest” by Ratindra Das
We are proud to be offering this beautiful 28”x 36” watercolor from celebrated artist Ratindra Das. He is a signature member of the American Watercolor Society, National Watercolor Society and holds a Master status in the Transparent Watercolor Society of America. He has been recipient of numerous awards including five in the American Watercolor Society. He is also a signature member of six other national watercolor societies.
Ratindra attended the American Academy of Art in Chicago and studied with many nationally known artists. A popular workshop instructor and frequent juror of shows and competitions, he served as a selection juror for the American Watercolor Society’s 2005 annual competition. He also donates his time to the PRC as a watercolor instructor in the PRC Arts Studio.
Here’s what he says about his watercolor: “Having lived in the Midwest, barns and farms have become part of me as much as they are integral part of landscape. Many have vanished. This will too!-either by nature’s forces or by man’s quest for urbanization. But this barn, like many that I have painted, will remain in my heart and mind and its image will find a home, a space on a wall, long after both of us will be gone.” Make sure to bid on this unique original art done by a unique original artist.
